HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016

Selamat Tahun Baru!!

Kalo kata Lily James as Cinderella : Have courage and be kind :)

Long Story Short...

I wasn't even remember that I have this blog. After I got a job then I was a busy career woman (read : big lazy ass girl). Well, in my previous post Aufklaerung, I state that I was breaking up with Bison implicitly. Then there was some kind like Kemarau fling with childhood guy that I would never ever regret. Spending several months being not in a relationship but always busy in Saturday night is quite refreshing though. And it didn't work out too long because Bison asked me to get back together and step into a  more serious relationship.

05.09.15 - Engagement in Jogjakarta
One of the most memorable moment in my whole life. The engagement was held earlier than previously planned due to my grandmother's health was decreasing a lot. It was Saturday morning, the sun shone bright and I was woken up at 6 am, told to shower and dragged for make up by my lovely cousin at 7 am. My family started to come one by one and finally Bison's family arrived at 10.30 am. I was soooo excited because I haven't met him for about a week. I was waiting to be called in my grandma's room surrounded by gifts from Bison's family. There were fruits, cakes, crackers, and other foods.
The process was so fast, my name was called and I went outside to meet the audience (hahay) and then we exchanged our rings, had lunch, took pics, my family gave several gifts back (angsul-angsul) for Bison's family and it's a wrap. Bison's family left my grandma's house but Bison, his sister and his friends stayed. We were going to enjoy jogja together :)

Oiya, the foods (catering) was great. There were buffet plus several other foods like gudeg rice, jenang sumsum, candil, sticky rice, ice cream, soft drink with no additional water. The catering belongs to my relative so we definitely get discount. I didn't pay much attention to the decoration, because it wasn't so important - there was also acoustic band and my mom set up a tent throughout the yard. Since we were in Jogja, the charges weren't expensive. I was so lucky surrounded by so many lovely people helped me and my mom during that week.

Historical Roman/Novel

Brittanica.com says about historical novel:
"a novel that has as its setting a usually significant period of history and that attempts to convey the spirit, manners, and social conditions of a past age with realistic details and fidelity (which is in some cases only apparent fidelity) to historical fact. The work may deal with actual historical characters...or it may contain a mixture of fictional and historical characters"
Yes, if a novel contains historical setting (background - time and place), like a part of history that really ever happened or a really existed historical figure, it is a historical novel.
I am one of the fans of this kind of book/literature/film. I'm fond of history since I was a kid, my mom or my grandma had told me various yet amazing stories. Even until now, my favorite moment is when I listen to someone talking about chronicles of something, someplace or someone. I listen like a good student :D The thing is, I want to know a lot more information about what had happened in a certain time at a certain place with a famous people, that's actually one of the reasons why I choose to study German Literature, German has a great history, who doesn't know about Prussia and Alexander the great? Who doesn't know Hitler and NAZI? Well, I know a lot more about it :p
I love to learn history from novels or films because I didn't even realize that I am learning something, so it's really enjoyable yet entertaining, and I would start to google or find articles about it and compare the real event and those which happened in the book or film. Here are 10 amazing historical novels/roman:

Aufklärung

Enlightenment.

Last nite all of the good, happy, sad, and furious memories were flashed back before me. I came into decision that shocked many people, even myself muahaha.

"Enlightenment is man's leaving his self-caused immaturity."
-Immanuel Kant,Beantwortung der Frage: Was ist Aufklärung?-

I thanked each moment I've spent, each lesson I've learned, each thing I've been given, and that's why I'm making this lil' yet simple memoir, to remind me of my readiness in moving on into my next phase of life. They wudn't be some wasted years because they were  nice :) next is up to me~

The Generous I: Chiung Yao/Qiong Yao

Chiung Yao is a novelist and songwriter who's born in Sichuan, China 1938. But then, she also became a scriptwriter and producer in films which based on her novels. I read her books since I was on yhe 4th grade of elementary school. It started out when I was really like watching "Putri Huan Zhu I" or "Princess Pearl I" on Indosiar back in 1999. That was my first Chinese historical drama based on Chiung Yao's novel, when I was 9 years old. I like it a lot till every time I  went to Carrefour with my parents I always came over the book and stationary station (not so many books there and the novels were located in the corner of the racks, I mean.. that's just so bad)  and asked my mom to be bought PHZ 1 books, which consisted of several series in one season (of course it needed several back and forth to get all of them). Muahahaha.
I've read all of the books but they were not in the shape now thanks to flood in 2002 :( Anywaaay, not only PHZ I that I recomend to read, there are also several novels from Chiung Yao which made me tearing up when I read them, since they were almost had tragic endings, but still she described every situation, moment, and the act of the figures very detail, that makes us drown in our own imagination.  I'll be back with my fave books of her : PHZ I and PHZ II. Lalalala~

I'm Creating A Blog

SO I'm starting my -not so myself but actually interested into- new activity, blogging. I recently graduated from an university that is sooo far far away and I spent almost whole 4 years struggling with buses, trucks, evil sun ray, dusts... hohohoo I'm so blessed.
Back to the end of 2012, its December already, which is actually and coincidentally my month. I recently graduated. I have no job yet. People around me do not stop barking about how when and where in the hell I'm gonna have one.. In the middle of searching a job, I realized that some jobs *several I interested on* required me to send them a portfolio or an example of my article. Well I don't have one.. Hahaha because basically I'm a very lazy person. But my mom said I was gifted with a good skill on writing. Hmm.. Let's see, she's a former journalist and she's my mom. Yap those are enough evidences to answer the questions.

Well well, I decided to start moving my fingers, working out my deserted brain, and having fun *that's what my mom said*. In order to apply that idea, I'm making a - this blog! Wow. Thank god making a blog here was so simple so the process wasn't even terminating my holly idea o:)

Here I'm gonna write about simple things i like, things that I personally care about so pardon me if this blog is a bit *or very* less satisfying publicly :)
